Very buggy and no response after requesting compensation
We had 2 rooms rented, the garden suite and the Rio Grande suite. Our room (the garden suite) had at least 20 or more moths, several flies, and gnats. I complained to Ryan via text in the late evening about how buggy it was and he questioned if we left the door open. Why would we have left the door open? We only opened it to go in and out. It was also dusty and the whole place looked like it needed some TLC honestly. We had stayed here a few years back and had a completely different experience. A few years back, the place seemed much cleaner and we even had fresh cookies in a gift bag on our bed. This time, just a few small wrapped candies by the fridge. The next morning, my son texted me from the Rio Grande suite that he and my daughter in-law stayed in and asked if we had "any gnarly bugs in our room." Apparently in their suite, they had spiders (also cobwebs in the ceiling fan too), beetles, gnats, and bugs on the floor. I told him I almost went to our car parked outside to sleep in the middle of the night because I was literally cocooning myself in the bed to avoid the flying bugs in our room. He said they almost did the same thing. We decided we did not want to wait until 9am for breakfast because we just wanted to get out of there honestly. I texted Ryan to let him know we would be skipping breakfast and also that our son's suite was very buggy as well and also that the rooms were not very clean. He replied that is not the norm and he'd see what they can do to make it right. The only positive was that Ryan allowed us to park on the street 2 days before our stay because we were taking a bus to Aspen and then hiking back to celebrate our end of hike day at the Floradora. Then again, street parking in Glenwood Springs is legal and free but I still appreciated that. On our way home, I texted Ryan to express again how buggy it was and that I felt we should be compensated. No response after that from Ryan. I wish someone would have done a more recent review before I booked the 2 suites because this was such a drastic change from our previous stay here and I still want some type of compensation since it was completely unsatisfactory. My husband having to walk around the room much of the night trying to swat flies and moths (probably coming in from the gaps under the doors leading to outside) and my son and daughter-in-law's buggy suite (and also very hot upstairs ) were unacceptable unless we were camping, not staying at a bed and breakfast. On a side note, the kitchen was also locked so there was no way to get water in the main lobby to make coffee but that was the least of the issues. Such a disappointment for the end of our hike. There's no way this is the first the owners have heard about this, it was that bad. I'm still waiting for a response on compensation.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Floradora. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks Ryan for everything.

Floradora Review
Floradora is a quaint little B&B that you will enjoy. Located on a quiet street within walking distance of the downtown area for an easy stroll to dinner or shopping. More enjoyable than a standard hotel chain. If you are an early riser and wanting to depart for your next stop, be prepared that breakfast is not served until 9:00am.

Sweet and convenient
Our stay was perfect at this location, walking distance to downtown Glenwood Springs in a quiet neighborhood. The host, Ryan, was very responsive and cooks a fabulous breakfast! He actually grew up on that street and is so knowledgeable. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and the a/c was great. Cute sitting area also in the Rio Grande room, and mini fridge. Highly recommend!
